A persistent tension gnaws at the edges of safety, a haunting reminder of this hostile land. The unease intensifies at the sight of the dense, shadowy jungle. It’s the silence that warns the most - no bird songs, no rustling leaves, just an oppressive void where life should thrive.

Without warning, the jungle erupts. A pack of sleek, armored theropods - the Neovenators - emerges in a coordinated assault. Their agility is terrifying, their camouflage within the foliage near-perfect. They are swifter and more cunning than the island’s infamous raptors, their pack cohesion a deadly synergy. With spears as the only defense, fending them off felt like a desperate, fragile victory. Yet, even as they retreated, there was no comfort, only the chilling realization: they had chosen to spare their prey, but why?

Further observation revealed their grim strategy. Neovenators are masterful pack hunters, their prowess rooted in patience and precision. Their initial attacks are not meant to kill but to weaken, delivering bites that introduce a slow-acting poison. They retreat to let time work its grim magic, circling back later to finish their debilitated prey with ruthless efficiency.

Domesticated

The jungle near the camp was a haven for these predators, their presence an unyielding shadow. With careful preparation, traps were set along the tree line, exploiting their hidden vigilance. When they struck, the panic of capture exposed their vulnerability - their armored backs impervious, but their soft bellies defenseless. Narcotic arrows found their mark, and the process of taming began.

Though fiercely resistant at first, Neovenators succumbed to the lure of meat over time. Their loyalty, once earned, is as formidable as their hunting skills. The true prize, however, lies in their venom. Through delicate extraction, this toxic substance can be refined into antidotes for various ailments. Its taste is foul, but its efficacy is undeniable, a grim boon in this unforgiving world.

Ecosystem Footprint

The role of Neovenators within the ecosystem is an enigma. Their presence in the jungle is pervasive yet elusive, with only occasional ventures into redwood forests to prey on the young of other species. Their armored forms suggest a history of relentless evolutionary pressure - perhaps from a predator even more fearsome, though what that could be remains a mystery.

Their natural venom adds another layer of intrigue. Though capable of confronting formidable foes, they often avoid unnecessary battles, relying on their cunning and poison to secure sustenance. Their success as hunters is undeniable, yet their full impact on the ecosystem is shrouded in mystery. They seem to occupy a niche as both predator and survivor, their true role in this intricate web of life still waiting to be fully uncovered.

Adds creatures:

Neovenator

Habitat Spawn: Can be found primarily on Jungles and rarely on Redwood Forests;
Personal Proporsal: This creature is dedicated to The Center map, the intended vision is to override Carnotaurus spawns with Neovenators spawns in the relevant Game.ini files, and disabling its spawns in other maps (Otherwise, enjoy it!);
Model Design: Model was imported from a different Open Source project (Details provided in the Notes Section). It shares similarities with the [base] Allosaurus model, though was significantly edited in Blender and scaled to a smaller height. Males and Females also support different types of colors;
Taming Requirements: Traditional K.O. tame, prefering Regular Kibble as food;
Intended Design: It is a "Pack" creature. When 3 Neovenators are within range, the strongest will become the Hunting Leader, the effect provides a reduction to damage received (-25%) and damage increase (+50%) - Comparable to Carnotaurus damage output. It also possesses the ability to inflict the Troodon Poison debuff when doing the "Gore-Attack" (Only available to the leader - wild or when not being ridden) and their normal bites inflictes a stamina debuff, reducing stamina over time.
Range of Definitions: Shares stat, growth and taming affinity similarities with the Carnotaurus, albeit being focused in less bulk and agility. It also has the ability to super charge, though this ability is largely useless unless used for fast traveling.
