With the Escape From ARKov mod, you can transform any Ark map into an intense, extraction-style adventure! With just a bit of setup from the server owner, players will get to experience Ark like never before.

Picture this: You’re the owner of a thriving server cluster, but your players are craving something fresh and thrilling beyond their daily routine. So, you take action. You add a new map to the cluster, tweak dino spawns, remove supply drops, and introduce a mod that provides alternative ways to score epic loot. Then comes the final touch—Escape From ARKov.

Now, your players can travel seamlessly from the main server to the new extraction-style map! There, they’ll battle fierce dinos, hunt down valuable loot, and face off against other players in a high-stakes race to find the extraction point and return home victorious. Get ready to bring a whole new level of excitement to your Ark community!

Setup Instructions for Escape From ARKov

To enhance the experience, it’s recommended to add the "Improved Dino Loot" mod or a similar one. This will ensure players have access to enticing rewards as they brave the dangers of this new map.

Step 1: Preparing the Mods
Once you’ve set up the necessary mods and adjusted the dino spawns, it’s time to configure the Escape From ARKov mod.

Step 2: Configuring Extraction Intervals
This part is simple! You’ll need to modify your gameusersettings.ini file using the following codes to control the extraction intervals:

TimeBetweenExtractionPoints=1500
TimeBeforeExtractionPointDespawns=900
ExtractionProtocolTimer=60

Step 3: In-Game Setup
After setting the intervals, the rest is done directly on the map. Follow these steps:

Load into the game and enable admin abilities.
Hold down the reload button to bring up the multiuse radial menu.
Select “Escape From ARKov Admin Setup” to access the setup options.
Spawn an Extraction Point into your inventory.
Place the Extraction Point where you want it to appear and select “Set Location” from the action menu.
Once the location is set, pick up or destroy the Extraction Point.

Tip: If you don’t pick it up, the next Extraction Point that spawns will automatically remove all existing ones on the map (which is fine since the location is saved).

If you make a mistake, you can go to the radial wheel Admin Setup menu and delete the points that you don't want, teleport to them, or if you want to reset everything, you can choose “Clear Locations” from the menu. Keep in mind that the TimeBetweenExtractionPoints timer starts when the server launches.

Step 4: Managing Obelisk Blockers
By default, the mod spawns Obelisk Blockers on all obelisks when the map launches. To manage them:

To remove the Obelisk Blockers, use the radial menu and select “Remove Obelisk Blockers”. To put them back, select “Replace Obelisk Blockers” from the same menu. Alternatively, you can use these script commands:

cheat scriptcommand ClearObeliskBlockers
cheat scriptcommand ReplaceObeliskBlockers

Use this spawn an Extraction Point without using the UI:

cheat giveitem "/EscapeFromARKov/PrimalItemStructure_ExtractionPoint.PrimalItemStructure_ExtractionPoint" 1 0 0 false

And that’s it! Once your Extraction Points and settings are in place, your players will be ready to dive into the action-packed world of Escape From ARKov.
